Fexofenadine Tablets

Fexofenadine is an antihistamine medication used to treat the symptoms of hay fever. Fexofenadine is considered a non-sedative antihistamine meaning its less likely to cause drowsiness.

Who cannot use Fexofenadine?

• Have epilepsy or other conditions that put you at risk of seizures.
• Have problems with your liver or kidney.
• Not recommended in over 65s
• A previous allergic reaction to fexofenadine
• Have or had heart problems.
• Are booked to have an allergy test.

Being an antihistamine, it blocks the action of histamine therefore preventing inflammation, itching and the other symptoms associated with hay fever.

Fexofenadine is taken as a single daily dosage. The tablet should be taken whole with a glass of water and preferably taken before a meal. Please follow your doctors or pharmacist’s advice before taking this medication.
