Spedra (Avanafil) Tablets

Spedra is a fast acting medication used to treat erectile dysfunction. The active medication found in Spedra is called Avanafil.

Who cannot take Spedra?

-        If you have had a previous allergic reaction to Spedra

-        If you take nitrate based medication

-        If you have angina, heart problems or suffered a heart attack/stroke within 6 months.

-        If you have high or low blood pressure

-        If you have a kidney problem.

-        If you have a history of non-arteritic anterior ischaemic optic neuropathy or any other serious eye conditions

-        If you take certain medicines to treat HIV or AIDS.

Spedra works within 15-30minutes and can last up to 6 hours. It does this by relaxing the blood vessels in your penis improving blood flow which will help gain and maintain an erection when aroused.

Spedra comes as 50mg, 100mg or 200mg strength tablets. One single tablet is taken 30 minutes before sexual activity. Spedra can be taken with or without food but taking Spedra with a meal may result in the medication taking longer to work. No more than 1 single tablet can be taken within a 24 hour period.
