Overview

Omeprazole is a medication used to reduce the amount of acid the stomach produces. It comes from a group of medicines known as a proton pump inhibitors (PPI). It is used widely to treat acid reflux.

How does Omeprazole Capsules work?

Omeprazole is effective in reducing the amount of acid in the stomach. It stops the proton pumps in the stomach from producing acid, reducing the amount of acid in your stomach improving the symptoms of acid reflux.

Omeprazole Capsules dosage

Omeprazole is taken once a day first thing in the morning. It can be taken with or without food. Please follow your doctors or pharmacist’s advice before taking this medication.
